Important information

We believe you and your dogs deserve a stress free, safe and relaxing stay. Here are a few pointers which may help:

Check-in: from 3pm on the Saturday (unless otherwise agreed).

Children: this property is not suitable for small children due to a pond in the garden. As such, we do not accept children below the age of 5 years. If you are considering bringing children below the age of 12 years, or have any queries please call in advance.

Checkout: by 10:30am on the morning or departure so we can prepare for our next visitors

Smoking: Please note that Badgers Watch is non-smoking throughout the premises. You are of course welcome to smoke outside on the terrace.

Pets: as you have got this far, you will be certainly assured that dogs are welcome. We would ask that this is restricted to 3 dogs unless otherwise agreed and would want you to provide details (name, age and breed) at time of booking. We have had requests to bring birds, cats and other pets down and in general would welcome them so long as we are notified ahead of time. Specific requests for cats though will have to be declined due to the 'natural conflict' that exists with Badgers Watch. The grounds are secure for most dogs however we can not guarantee that energetic digging would not result in escape.

Cleaning up after your pets: all we ask is that guests clean up after their pets so the next guests find the property a tidy state.

Deposits: With all bookings we require a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week at time of booking and complete payment at least 6 weeks before your stay.

Insurance: we strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance in the event of travel disruption, material damage to the property or pet emergencies.

Vets: there are a wide selection of vets on the Island. They are located in Newport, Shanklin, Ryde, Bembridge, Wootton and Lake:
